At BeamBuddy, ensuring customer satisfaction is our primary concern. We adhere to the Australian Consumer Law and the terms outlined in this policy, offering refunds, repairs, and replacements to meet customer expectations. (a) Consumer Guarantees: Under the Australian Consumer Law, our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. For significant service failures, you have the right to cancel your service contract with us and receive a refund for the unused portion or compensation for its reduced value. For substantial product failures, you can opt for a refund or replacement. For non-major failures, we are committed to promptly rectifying the issue. If not addressed, you can seek a refund for the goods or cancel the service contract, obtaining a refund for any unused portion. Additionally, you may receive compensation for other foreseeable losses or damages resulting from the failure.

(g) Non-Major Failures: For failures that do not amount to major failures under the Australian Consumer Law, we are still committed to repairing or replacing the goods.

3. Change of Mind / Refund Policy

We facilitate refunds or exchanges for change of mind within 10 days of purchase or if the product does not meet your expectations. A 20% restocking fee will be applied to refund or exchange requests. Products must be returned in brand-new condition as received.

4. Products Damaged During Delivery

In case a product you ordered is damaged during delivery:

(a) Contact Us: Please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

(b) Return Procedure: Return the damaged product in the condition it was in upon receipt, along with all packaging and accompanying items.

(c) Resolution: We will arrange for the repair or replacement of the damaged product or offer a refund if you contact us within 14 days of receiving the product. BeamBuddy covers shipping costs if the product is deemed faulty.

5. Exceptions

Despite the policies outlined above, we may refuse repair, replacement, or refund if:

(a) Misuse: You misused the product, leading to the issue.

(b) Prior Awareness: You were aware of the product or service's issues before purchase.

(c) Alterations: You requested a service or product alteration against our advice or provided unclear specifications.

(d) Other Exceptions: Other exceptions specified by the Australian Consumer Law apply.

6. Shipping Costs for Returns

(a) Our Responsibility: If a product fails to meet Consumer Guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, we will cover shipping costs for returning the product and sending a replacement.

(b) Your Responsibility: If the product can be easily returned, you are responsible for arranging and covering the return shipping costs. We will reimburse reasonable postage, shipping, or transportation costs if the product is eligible for repair, replacement, or refund under this policy.

(c) Bulky Products: For large or heavy products that cannot be easily returned by you and are eligible for repair, replacement, or refund, we will arrange and cover postage, shipping, transportation, or collection.

(d) Non-Eligible Returns: If we arrange and pay for the inspection, postage, shipping, transportation, or collection of a product that is not eligible for repair, replacement, or refund, you will be responsible for these costs.

(e) Change of Mind: For change of mind returns, customers must pay a 20% restocking fee and arrange return shipping at their expense.

Products you return may contain your data. Repair or replacement may result in data loss. We recommend backing up data to prevent data loss and removing sensitive or confidential data, as it may be accessible during assessment or repair. We are not responsible for data lost during repair or replacement.

(a) Manufacturer Support: In some cases, manufacturers may offer direct assistance for their products, potentially resolving issues more efficiently.

(b) Manufacturer Warranties: Manufacturers may provide warranties that extend beyond the Consumer Guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law or this policy.

(c) Optional Manufacturer Contact: While not obligatory, you may contact the manufacturer directly for repair, replacement, or refund assistance if desired.

BeamBuddy Models and Colours

Beambuddy is currently available in 2 colours, white (Ghost) and black (Stealth).

Both colours come with same features, including a powerful main beam, side light, USB-C recharging capability and IP65 water resistance, all packed into a flashlight that fits in your pocket.

BeamBuddy features a convenient USB-C charging cable in the box, meaning all you require to charge is a USB compatible charging port such as a on a computer, car charger or wall plug.

How far does the Beambuddy V3 reach?

BeamBuddy features a powerful main beam capable of up to 1000 lumens at a distance of 150 metres, out performing both the average mobile and conventional flash at just 50 lumens!

What modes does the main beam have have?

BeamBuddy features both a powerful main beam for long distance illumination and a side light for situations when your require softer ambient lighting.

  • Main beam - The main beam features 5 distinct power modes for any scenario.

  • Turbo - The most powerful mode on the BeamBuddy producing 1.25 hours of illumination at 900 lumens.

  • High - Still powerful but increased illumination duration at 2 hours at 650 lumens.

  • Medium - A good balance between illumination power and duration at 2.5 hours at 450 lumens.

  • Low - Long lasting illumination with practical illumination at 3 hours at 180 lumens.

What modes does the side light have?

Side light - The side light features 5 vibrant illumination modes.

  • White - Excellent for softer ambient lighting whilst reading or cooking when you're camping.

  • UV - Enables the ability to see fluorescence, useful for spotting dangerous species such as scorpions or spiders whilst hiking or camping.

  • Red - Great for creating relaxing ambience such as before sleeping during camping.

  • Red Flash - Useful for highlighting hazards whilst out walking or camping, such as trips hazards like tent guy lines.

How to operate BeamBuddy V3

Main Beam - Double click to turn the flashlight on and a single click rotates through each of the power modes. A single click and hold will power off the flashlight.

Turbo mode can be activated on by turning on as normal and holding a long press.

Side Light - The side light work modes can be activated by double clicking to turn on, with a single click to cycle through each lighting mode.

The BeamBuddy is designed to be compact and lightweight to fit easily in your pocket whilst attached to your keys. The dimensions of the BeamBuddy are 5.6 cm in length and 3.1 cm in width.
